Breakfast and departure for Maçka, a town that embodies the
typical culture of the Black Sea region. Experience a unique chane yo
(traditional visit) and the local people's customs. Then, visit Sumela
Monastery, which boasts a unique history and stunning natural beauty. Sumela
Monastery, also known as the Monastery of the Virgin Mary by locals, sits at an
altitude of 300 meters. The monastery was dedicated to the Virgin Mary, and the
name "Sumela" is believed to derive from the word "melas,"
meaning black. It is thought that the monastery's name is associated with the
black images of the Virgin Mary or the Black Mountains. Next, we'll pass
through Hamsiköy for a stop at a local restaurant. Afterward, we'll visit
Uzungol, one of Turkey's most beautiful and popular lakes. Then, we'll visit
